Adaptive Curriculum, a CCS Presentation Systems partner, was brought into Besteiro Middle School in Brownsville, TX by their principal. Seventy-five percent of the Besteiro students were at-risk youths.
The Adaptive Curriculum program was first implemented with the students instead of the traditional way with the teachers learning first. The students loved it and were able to understand concepts using the program that they could not understand through their teacher. The students were then motivated to “teach” their teachers how to use the program, which in-turn motivated the teachers in seeing how enthusiastic the students were.
